Why divide?
A running count of +6 means different things with 5 decks left vs 1 deck left. True count (TC) normalizes for how much shoe remains.
How this app calculates it
Estimate decks left to the nearest half deck, then TC = RC ÷ decks left, truncated toward zero (2.9 → 2, −2.9 → −2). Betting decisions use the true count, not the raw running count.
